Stop selling ONLY crop tops for 6 year olds! Let them be children.
Six year old girls enjoy climbing and running around as much as boys. They're into ice cream and going to the park. I've never heard any cry because they can't get their belly out.
So WHO exactly is driving the demand for Next and Marks and Spencers to design almost every single top they sell in the six year old range to be cropped, including long sleeve t-shirts?!
What is wrong with their designers? Do they enjoy seeing 6 year old girls' bellies?
I'm not complaining because there is a cropped top option, but because there is no other option.
As leading designers and also offenders in the creepy clothes for 6 year olds market, M&S and Next have the power to turn this around.

Why is this important?
This is important because 6 year olds should be able to not be cold. They should be able to slide across a climbing frame or climb a tree without hurting their stomach....
But mainly because they should be allowed to be children and not care about dressing "sexily".
I'm asking for there to be a choice and for fashion designers not to dictate to our girls how they will dress. At the moment there really is no choice.
