Please stop the development of Middlewick, Colchester.
Why is this important?
Colchester has been the victim of too much green space being sold for development over the past 30 years. Our precious areas are vital for the health and well-being of the Town.
The continued destruction of green space and urban sprawl has lead to unhealthy amounts of air pollution caused by traffic. Infrastructure is already struggling with GP appointments in short supply, Schools struggling to cope with increased numbers and the Hospital already at breaking point.
Middlewick is also believed to have archaeological evidence of Neolithic and Roman life.
