STOP THE DVSA from selling blocks of DRIVING TEST bookings

Dear Mr Rowley

I would draw your attention to the large waiting lists for driving tests every where but specifically in Chesterfield.
It has got a lot worse due to covid and anyone can accept that, but one of my pupils tried to book a test on Thursday 22nd of July and found that she could not get a test until after April 2022.
This needs something doing about it and being as the DVSA are a government organisation, I wondered if you might raise this issue in parliament,
I believe that the DVSA are selling blocks of or groups of bookings to private businesses that run intensive courses. This means that driving instructor pupils cannot get driving tests.
This could be your son or daughter or a family member.
Why should people have to pay for intensive courses when they have paid for lessons with an instructor to have a chance of getting a driving test

I look forward to your response and hope that you might take this matter to heart

Why is this important?

Because this is a Nationwide problem effecting pupils of all ages and all walks of life.
