Stop the privatisation of channel 4

Sir David Attenborough wrote a letter to the government against the short sighted political and financial attacks on the TV networks independent television Channel 4 .I would like to start this petition to put pressure on the government to preserve Channel 4 which had provided quality, diversity, innovative, respectful debate and trust.
