Stop young adults with life changing disabilities having to go through work assessments

Put a stop to young adults with life limiting disabilities having to jump through hoops to prove they are incapable of working.

Why is this important?

I think its deplorable that my son and many young adults with life limiting disabilities up and down the UK, are forced to go into job centres and sit and be degraded in front of strangers to prove they are incapable of getting a job. Before being entitled to claim any benefit money (which they have to wait 6/8wks for) the beginning is only a standard allowance with a doctors sick note, until a medical assessment is completed.

These rules need to change for the better and generations to come that will no doubt have to endure the same spectacle. A letter from the young adults consultant should be the only form required to claim such benefits as we do for PIP.
