Stopping food and drink subsidies for Parliament and the house of Lords

The british taxpayer subsidises parliament for food and drink to the tune of over £4million pounds per year. MPs have a basic salary of over £84 thousand pounds per year before their travel expences, London living allowance. Secondary home allowances, staff allowances, free postage, headed paper etc and who knows whatever else claims they can make. They do not need food and drink to be subsidised and this should be stooped

Why is this important?

We are in a time of rising cost of living this is a way of of reducing the burden on taxpayers
