STRIP PAULA VENNELLS OF HER REVEREND STATUS

We, the undersigned, call on the Church of England to defrock former Post Office boos, Paula Vennells and remove her Reverend status.
Why is this important?
The Horizon Post Office IT scandal has caused immense distress and hardship to numerous postmasters and mistresses who were unjustly accused of defrauding the Post Office via the Horizon system. This led wrongful convictions, financial ruin, and personal suffering for those embroiled in its aftermath.
It now transpires that Vennells was aware of what was happening to these people and she chose not to act.
Whilst this gross miscarriage of justice was still taking place, Vennells sought ordination and was preaching the gospel in church. This was an abomination in the face of social justice and as such we feel that this behaviour is not commensurate with being an ordained priest in the Anglican church.
Given this situation, we request that the Church of England defrock the Reverend Paula Vennells.
