Support for women’s rights in Afghanistan

The British Government should urge the rest of the world to put pressure on the new regime in Afghanistan to guarantee the equal rights of women and girls in that country.

Why is this important?

This is vital because equal rights for women are human rights - women in Afghanistan are at risk of forced marriage, of being denied education and freedom to work.
