Transmit the film "We Are Many"- let history inform future decisions
We call on TV commissioners to transmit the film "We Are Many".
Millions of people throughout the world organised to say "not in our name" in the run up to the invasion of Iraq.
Our voices were not heeded and the devastation and ongoing conflict which resulted is now clear to see.
We believe the time has come for a full appraisal of what happened in order that history might inform future decisions.
This film deserves to be seen now and we call upon broadcasters to take the steps necessary to ensure the film is transmitted as a matter of urgency.

Why is this important?
The film "We Are Many" has been expertly produced over several years through crowd funding.
It received it's world premier at the Sheffield International documentary film festival a week ago and was given a 4 minute standing ovation by industry insiders and members of the public.
The film documents the run up to the invasion of Iraq, the first and largest international demonstrations which asserted "not in our name" and the aftermath and impact of the war.
It includes footage of decision makers and their appraisal of the consequences of the action taken.
In the current political climate there could not be a more relevant film.
