Please would you request Mr Trump respects the human rights of all minorities. Mrs Merkel has offered her congratulations on the basis that collaboration with him is conditional on his observance of human rights. Please would you do the same?

Why is this important?

We have to curb fascism and fascism thrives on the erosion of human rights and dignities.
