Twickenham-on-Thames Campaign

To support an effort to persuade the local authority to explore the possibility of changing the name of Twickenham to 'Twickenham-on-Thames' and, if thought desirable, that they take steps to make the change.

Why is this important?

To raise the profile of Twickenham as a riverside town for the benefit of residents, local businesses and visitors. The town owes much to its proximity to the river Thames and a name change would be the first step towards recognising this.
