Universal Credit Housing Allowance

£650 allowance per month is ridiculous. There is nothing available for that amount of allowance. Time needs to be spent to understand the "actual cost of housing" The level of benefit has not been increased in numerous years despite a huge spike in rental costs. Chichester District council need to act & increase the level of allowance to ensure more people are not forced into poverty.

Why is this important?

Others I'm sure have felt my financial burden. I live in a tiny zero bed studio flat but my Universal Credit allowance is nearly £200 short of my rent. I'm tired of living on beans on toast at least twice a day.
