Urge the government to invest in youth services now to cut knife crime

The government needs to invest in youth services NOW to support young people and to stop them being vulnerable to being involved with gangs and knife crime.  Invest in Youth Clubs, Youth Services, Mentors, Training and Sports and stop excluding children from school without their being an alternative placement for them to go to.

Why is this important?

The government must stop failing young people, they have a duty of care and action needs to be taken now to avoid further needless deaths due to rising knife crime.  We need a total ban on knife ownership for anyone under 25 on the streets.
