Childrens Safe Crossing Protest Walk

Please come and join us on September the 5th 2016 to walk our children to High Storrs School.

We are looking for as many parents, children, along with walkers, runners and others to walk with us to bring attention to the problem of crossing this busy junction experienced by over 100+ school children everyday along with others. The event is to raise the profile of this dangerous crossing point due to the frustration of many to Sheffield Councils unwillingness to make a safe crossing point at this junction. (The event will take around 30 - 45 minutes to complete).

We will be meeting at the junction of Hangingwater Road and Whiteley Wood Road, Sheffield S11 7FE (Map co-ordinates (google) 53.364761, -1.526096) at 07:45 AM leaving at around 08:00 Am and walking up High Cliffe Road finishing at High Storrs School 20 to 30 minutes later depending upon the number of people attending, You are welcome to walk back down the road with us to the start point without any High Storrs School Children

If you are able to attend could we PLEASE ask you to WEAR a HIGH VISABILITY Vest, we will have some spares on the day if you don’t happen to own one.

Please RSVP If you are able to attend, so that we can co-ordinate the numbers
Thank you Martin and Lindsey Jacobs
