Hackney Council needs to recognise the contribution made by Diane Abbott in her constituency and nationally. She is an inspiration to minority communities. To remember her contribution in our lives and community, this petition calls for a statue of Diane Abbott.
Why is this important?
Diane Abbott has been an inspiration to many ethnic minority communities. Just like many ethnic minorities, she experienced racist abuse on social media. We are saying that enough is enough. Black Lives Matter! We want a statue of Diane Abbott outside Hackney Town Hall!
How it will be delivered
This petition is to be delivered to the Mayor of Hackney either in person or via email. We must abide by the government's social distancing guideline!
