As revealed in a story by Lucy Fisher (https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/commonwealth-soldiers-don-t-earn-enough-to-bring-families-with-them-mflwllmqv) Commonwealth soldiers enlisted in the British Army are having to work second jobs to earn the minimum required under visa rules to bring their children to the UK.
We want the Government to make an exemption for those who put their own lives at risk to serve their Queen and country to these visa rules.
Anyone who puts their own life at risk to protect their country has surely earned the right to be joined by their family.
Enabling families to stay together keeps soldiers happy, prolongs their service & might even lead to a 2nd generation joining in years to come.
