Animals do feel pain and experience emotion

We urge the Government to review and amend the vote taken last week 13 to 17 November 2017 by MPs to drop the inclusion of animal sentience into the Withdrawal Bill. Under EU law, animals are currently recognised as being capable of feeling pain and emotion.

Why is this important?

Under EU law, animals are currently recognised as being capable of feeling pain and emotion. This MUST continue if we are to be a humanitarian nation after we leave the EU.
