Asking Salisbury Odeon to bring prices down so more families can access entertainment.
We as Salisbury residents are petitioning for our local branch of the Odeon to reduce it's ticket prices to fall in line with surrounding cities which are charging sometimes HALF the fee!
Why is this important?
The extortionate ticket prices make it near on impossible for many people to take their families or loved ones to the cinema to enjoy new movies and experience the big screen.
In July Southampton Odeon were charging £19 for 2 adults and 2 children whereas in Salisbury the same tickets, on the same date, for the same film were £41!
We feel it is an important part of the city enjoyed by people of all ages and would like to support it in order to keep it. However, the prices drive people away and unless something changes filmgoers will continue to go elsewhere in search of cheaper tickets.
How it will be delivered
We will email the petition both to our local cinema and the Odeon HQ.
