Associate EU citizenship for UK nationals

Please include the proposed associate EU citizenship (amendment 882 to draft report by EU Parliament's Constitutional Affairs Committee) in any Brexit deal so as to retain some of the same rights as full EU citizens currently including residence, voting and MEP representation, right to travel freely and live on the continent
Why is this important?
Over 16 million people voted to remain in the EU, and together with a proportion of those who voted leave, strongly wish to retain the cultural benefits and friendship between European nations at an individual level. When Brexit is confirmed, currently all UK citizens will lose their EU citizenship and for me will affect such things as twinning, student exchange, and cultural exchanges.
