Ban adverts for alcohol and gambling.

Addicts have a battle every day. Smoking adverts weren't even around when I was young. But they don't happen now. Why do gambling and alcohol adverts still exist? Something should be done. We all know how we could do all of the above. It doesn't need advertising. Unless the government can come up with a real reason why it shouldn't I can't understand why it should. The cost of the NHS on alcoholism, suicides, palliative Care... the cosy of impacting so many peoples lives HAS to be worth more than gaining tax profit.

Why is this important?

I'm a recovering addict on all levels. Not just gambling and alcohol. It just dawned on me now that I can't watch TV in the summer without a strongbow ad or a beer garden ad. And as for the " drink and gamble responsibly" line ?
You can't read it in the small print even with glasses.
