Ban cash machines that charge a fee for withdrawing money
The act of charging a fee to withdraw money from a cash machine (ATM) should be banned. There are a limited number of places in an urban area that an individual can withdraw their money from a cash machine, and it is incorrect that the individual is charged a payment for simply collecting the money that they have worked hard for.
Why is this important?
Many of these cash machines that charge a fee for withdrawing money are in deprived neighbourhoods where they may not have much money available and this is compounded by being charged a payment for the simple act of accessing their money in physical form. Banning these types of cash machine will improve the local and wider economies for providing a little more money for individuals that they are currently being charged. The charge fees are immoral and are detrimental for individuals and businesses. Charging a fee for withdrawing money from a cash machine should be made illegal.
