Banish Baseball Caps - we are not part of the States

The American baseball cap is one of the signs in this country of our association with the United States. With the American president continuing to make strange noises and still hoping to take over other countries I think we should make it clear that he has not taken over the UK.
So, let us rid ourselves of this unnecessary connection to the States.
Banish Baseball Caps should be our cry. Banish your baseball cap to the back of the cupboard, cry BBC if you like, and make it clear to the world that we are most definitely not part of the United States.
Why is this important?
The Trump presidency is a joke, but it is also powerful. We do not have the financial power to undermine it but the more we can encourage people to laugh at this particular president and make him a joke the more likely it will be that he will be unable to persuade anyone to take him seriously.
He is a bully, using threats to get his way. For the sake of the Ukraine and other countries we must mock him until the rest of the world sees him for what he is.
Humour can be useful when addressing Americans. An American exchange teacher at my school asked my teachers why it was that Britain did not get up to date and appoint a president. The answer came within seconds: we had tried a president once, three hundred years ago, and it had only taken us twelve years to realise that we had made a mistake.
