Bar Sir Edward Leigh and his fellow filibusterers from the House of Commons for at least 10 working days for talking out the NHS bill on 11 March 2016. This will initiate petitions to recall these MPs and precipitate by-elections if the recall petitions are successful.
Why is this important?
Filibustering prevents Private Members' Bills from being considered and debated in the House of Commons and is therefore an affront to representative democracy
