BRING BACK ROCKNESS FESTIVAL
Rockness attracted people from all over the country to its remote location on the banks of Loch Ness helping to put the Highlands on the map. We urge you to bring back this Scottish Festival.
Why is this important?
Primarily a dance festival, Rockness pulled in big acts from all over the world. It is so important to bring back this festival to promote music. The setting on the edge of Loch Ness is unparalleled. With T in the Park facing its own troubles we feel this would be the perfect time to bring back the beloved Rockness which people still discuss and look back on fondly today.
Economically, Rockness took in lots of money to the area and allowed small local businesses the chance to showcase their goods. We appreciate the value of small businesses locally and the need to encourage their growth and ensure their stability.
