Call on Eden Council to scrap Voreda House
Call on Eden Council to stop all development plans for Voreda House as a single site HQ for Eden Council and invest in making Penrith Town hall a net zero building and take back control of Penrith New Squares and use the retail space as a single site public services hub to create an anchor development in the heart of Penrith to deliver public services and create footfall to support Business in the town center.
Demolish Voreda House to create car parking to enable off street parking for local residents and visitors to Penrith.

Why is this important?
Eden Council will by the 1st of April 2023 no longer exist as a Council.
Yet Eden Council is progressing with its £4million pound Voreda House single site project with the spiralling cost when the council has other assets it is failing to make carbon neutral or utilise unused space at new squares that had stood empty for a decade since construction.
