Citizens of Aberdeen, help people of Ferryhill & Torry demand Cllr Alan Donnelly resign from ACC
Councillor Alan Donnelly should resign immediately as Councillor for Ferryhill and Torry. We wish to elect a more suitable candidate to represent us on Aberdeen City Council.
The former deputy provost of Aberdeen has been found guilty of sexual assault.
Conservative Alan Donnelly had denied kissing and touching a man who was working at an event in the city.
The three-day trial heard one of the accuser's supervisors say he was "trembling and shaking" when he reported the incident to her.
Sheriff Ian Wallace said he was satisfied beyond reasonable doubt of the accused's guilt.

Why is this important?
Cllr Alan Donnelly is no longer in a position to represent his constituents after being found guilty of sexual assault. We need an election to vote for a councillor who will represent the interests of the consituency.
