Cap rental prices
Rental prices need to be capped. The every increasing rental prices on private properties is becoming a real cause for concern, eventually most people will be priced out the market and families will have to end up living with each other so that there is more than two wages coming in to be able to afford a place. It's time for the government to step up and put a cap in place.
Why is this important?
Increasing rents are starting to price people out the market. It is not right that people have to pay hundreds more a month when a mortgage or council property would be cheaper. The gap between housing benefit and rents is widening which causes issues for people on low wages. Time to be fair to the working people who just need a roof over their head.
