Better care and treatment for survivors of childhood trauma

All over the U.K people are suffering with PTSD (C)-PTSD as a result of childhood trauma. Mental Health Services across the UK are failing many of these people, often by ignoring their suffering, often by re-traumatising them.

Whist we appreciate that The Truth Project may have helped many, for others it left us feeling raw and with no support.

Despite the ACE study and NICE guidelines, there remains a huge gap in care for us and too little in the way of psychological therapies and crisis intervention.

We want more.

We need more.

We Deserve more.

Why is this important?

Psychological injury is invisible. Thousands if not millions of people across the UK are suffering on a daily basis. All we want is to heal, just like anybody from any other injury.
