Change the 9pm curfew for 16-17 year olds in Weatherspoons
Wetherspoons have a 9pm curfew for under 18's meaning a 17 year old out with their 18 year old friends has to leave at 9pm whilst their friends can stay until 12pm/1am. This doesn't seem fair.
This is the statement on their website "Families are welcome to dine in the majority of our pubs; however, permitted hours for customers aged under 18 years may vary from pub to pub. During these permitted hours, 16- and 17-year-olds (with the exception of some pubs in Scotland) are welcome to visit, without adult supervision, for food and soft drinks only.
I would like to see a graduated curfew meaning under 16's have to leave at 9pm with 16 and 17 year olds leaving before 11pm/midnight.

Why is this important?
It is demoralising for 16-17 year olds to have to go home when their friends who are 18 can stay in the pub. As long as they are not drinking alcohol or upsetting fellow patrons they should be allowed to stay.
