Changes in planning laws

I would like the government to continued to allow the public to have a role in the planning application process for new developments across the country. In my area large spaces of greenfield sites have been covered in quick new builds, that aren’t affordable for locals and encourage people to move in from elsewhere without relevant infrastructure such as roads, schooling, GPS and Utilities capacity.

Why is this important?

Prevents the destruction of habit and greenspace, when building on farmland. Allows people to voice their opinions and concerns in regard to their local environment. It also maintains social equality within an area, e.g how is it fare that someone born hear can’t afford a house in the area but someone else moving in can?
