Coronavirus should stop DWP sanctions
Stop sanctions on people who have to miss interviews because of coronavirus.
Why is this important?
It's really important to reduce interactions with other people during the period of the coronavirus epidemic. We've been asked to self-isolate if we feel ill. But DWP claimants told to go to an interview worry about being sanctioned if they don't do. If they do go, they will probably be going by public transport, and being interviewed/seeing several people while at the interview. That's a good way to spread the virus. There should be no interviews, and no sanctions, during this period.
