Demand change of leadership at May Park School

Bristol live headline
The May Park Primary School community has lost all faith in the leadership following accusations of racism, bullying and a reluctance to address the concerns raised by parents around safeguarding. We demand a change in leadership in order to secure the safety of children and staff.

Why is this important?

Teachers have reported bullying and racism from leadership. Parents have reported having their concerns around safeguarding ignored. We have lost talented and dedicated staff members under suspicious circumstances.

The parent body has lost faith in the leadership to provide our children with a safe nurturing environment and fully support teachers in their desire to have a safe and respectful working environment.

The school has now stated that the strike is postponed. No detail of when the strike may take place, or what steps are being taken to resolve the issues have been disclosed. Comments have been disabled on Class Dojo to avoid questions being asked. Previous posts have also been deleted, therefore censoring parents.

How are parent's supposed to feel safe sending their children to school when a toxic and potentially discriminatory environment exists for teaching staff - children cannot remain unaffected. Please continue to share and sign this petition to help put pressure on the academy to remove the current leadership and confront the issues faced by the school.
