Do away with the term Opposition Political Party
Come up with a resolution to bring to an end the use of the term opposition political party when referring to a political party that is not ruling.
The security Council to come up with a term that promotes dialogue and demonstrates the intention of political parties which is to promote the quality life of citizens not to oppose the ruling party. Political parties are competing to offer the best possible quality of life to the nation.

Why is this important?
in 2020 there was an estimate of 26 millionn refugees
A term used greatly influence the perception and reaction to an event. Examples are; rebel vs prisoner of conscience, disabled vs suffering disabilities, delinquent child vs child displaying challenging behaviour, illegitimate child vs child born out of wedlock, imbecile vs person with learning difficulties. The terms used have led to change of an attitude to a situation with changes in analysing situations and changes in response/services.The term opposition does not promote dialogue but gives an image of a party that is against the ruling party yet in reality it is competing with the ruling party in the delivery of servicevto the nation. opposition party can easily be taken advantage of by the ruling party to paint a picture of political parties that do not have the interest of the nation. I would like a term term that is reflective of the goals of political parties; they are in a race/competition of providing the best possible services to the nation. terms used generate an attitude to engagement. To countries that have previously been subjected to colonialism there is a high risk of the opposition party term creating a mental image of a sellout, a pepertuator of the interests of previous colonialist. Opposition promotes fighting while competition promotes engagement, questioning, analysis and evidence of better ideas.
