Domestic cats due to predation of native wildlife to be kept in outside enclosed space
Domestic cats should not be allowed to roam free it should become law that all cat owners keep their cats indoors and provide an outdoor enclosure due to the predation of our native wildlife
Wildlife is under threat and cats kill between 160 to 275 million animals/birds per year
If this continues it will have a detrimental effect on the ecosystem also effecting humans
As a cat owner my cat is kept in has a large enclosure which can be accessed at anytime she is happy healthy and safe and more importantly the wildlife are safe

Why is this important?
The importance of keeping domestic cats indoors is to save our native species
In my own garden one cat has killed 9 nesting great tits 7 nesting wrens and a group of slow worms
This cannot continue across the country all our wildlife is fighting for survival cats are making things much graver for them and long term our fragile eco systems will be destroyed
