"Doon the Dutchie" music festival
We would like NLC to take on board the interest from the local community regarding the public interest for an annual small music festival to be held in the duchess of Hamilton park.
We are going to use this as evidence that there is solid interest for this to go ahead and use it as part of our proposal.
We are looking at putting this event on June 2017.
It will be family orientated day hopefully running from roughly 2pm-10pm with up to three stages for a mixture of music from local live bands, acts and Djs. Separate bar and cocktail bar. Food stalls and entertainment.

Why is this important?
At present no a lot us going on in Motherwell during the summer and we feel this event and others we would like to do in the future would be benifical to the local comunity, boost comunity spirit and bring revenue to local businesses supporting and sponsoring the day.
