Dunfermline & West Fife deserves new high schools now!

We the undersigned demand that the Scottish Government provide the funding so that Fife Council can start work on replacement high schools for Inverkeithing, St Columba's and Woodmill. Fife Council has already committed £50 million, it's time for the SNP Government to deliver it's share!

Why is this important?

Our children deserve better than being taught in crumbling and overcrowded schools.

Dunfermline continues to grow rapidly. It's a great place to live and for children to grow up. But our children are now being faced with the prospect of being separated from their friends because there is simply no room left at Woodmill High School.

Enough is enough. Parents are fed up of excuses and fed up of catchment changes, which only cause further anxiety for parents and children and fail to solve the long term issue. It's now time for action to ensure that all children in our community can attend their local high school and access the best possible learning environment.

We have waited long enough - #FundOurSchools so Fife Council can get on with building the new schools our area desperately needs.
