Ebola treatment volunteer medal/award.
A specific medal/award to be instigated for awarding to ALL healthcare staff who travel to an Ebola infected area and treat, or assist in the treatment of Ebola-infected patients.
Why is this important?
To volunteer to travel to an Ebola infected country, in order to treat patients infected with Ebola virus, takes a level of bravery which is beyond words, and is equally comparable with many military bravery medals.
That high level of altruistic bravery cannot go unrecognized by the country at large.
