Equal rights for type 2 diabetics
Allow type 2 diabetics that take insulin and unable to control blood sugar levels equal access to monitoring systems such as Freestyle Libre
Why is this important?
This is a quick and easy method of continually being able to monitor blood sugar levels without the need to prick finger every time causing bruising, lost sensation in fingers and extra risk of infections. Not allowing this and leaving people to not control blood sugar levels satisfactory can lead to much worse consequences.
Cost is always mentioned as controlling factor not your medical needs.
