Extend Parking Permits for Pharmacy Staff
As FRONTLINE health care workers, who have been one of the only key workers who have been working throughout the entire pandemic, we believe that the parking permits should be extended for NHS pharmacy workers as well. Due to the nature of this job, we do not have the privilege of working from home so we are constantly exposed to the virus. As you can imagine, having to take public transport on top of this can be a hindrance for many of us as we do have vulnerable family members at home.
Why is this important?
Many healthcare workers have been at risk, and a a number have also sadly lost their lives. It is important that we continue to protect our NHS workers so that we can fulfill our roles sufficiently.
