Fair holiday deals for young parents

To make sure holiday companies, travel agencies and airlines maintain a standard competitive pricing policy throughout the school summer holiday period.
At a time when the government are clamping down on truancy and absenteeism from schools, the situation should be alleviated by placing restrictions on holiday/ travel companies "profiteering" who raise their prices during school holiday periods, although profiteering is not illegal, unless it is at a time of crisis, .e.g. war or a national emergency, the financial exploitation of young families is a complete and utter disgrace and the government should not sit by and allow this to happen especially at a time when they are trying to maximise children's attendance in schools. As a grandparent I feel a great deal of sympathy for young parents struggling to provide a normal life for their families in what is financially difficult times.

Why is this important?

I feel the importance of this financial restriction would be to not only assist young families but would also help teachers and schools in general to maintain a high level of school attendance.
