Fracking and the Water Bill

Make it a mandatory requirement for fracking companies to take out Insurance for any environmental damage that ensues as a consequence of their activities, If the company subsequently goes into administration. i.e make companies sign a bond to pay for potential pollution incidents!

Why is this important?

Fracking is a potential environmental hazard. It is unjust that the public purse would be used for any environmental damage as a result of Fracking companies activities and not the companies themselves or an external Insurance organisation.
