Free UK Citizens Illegally Detained While Delivering Aid to Gaza

I cannot begin to express the relief I feel. We just spoke to Aaron - he and 8 other UK detainees arrived in Istanbul this afternoon. He sounded strong and full of energy.

But our work continues. There were 14 UK nationals detained (one was on a boat that joined the fleet). 5 remain in Israeli custody:

My son Aaron White was one of 14 UK citizens who vanished on October 1st after Israeli forces illegally boarded their humanitarian flotilla in international waters, 70 nautical miles from Gaza.

Over 500 unarmed civilians - including medics, lawyers, elected officials, and activists from 44 countries - were kidnapped while delivering baby formula and medical supplies to starving people in Gaza.

Since October 1st, all communications have ceased. We don't know where they are or if they're safe.

Every signature pressures the Foreign Office to take immediate action. Aaron and the others were trying to help starving children - now they need our help.

I am writing to you as a constituent of <constituency>  at a time of profound concern regarding, Aaron White, a Brent West constituent, and other occupants of the Global Sumud Flotilla vessel Dir Yassine (Mali), who have been detained by Israeli naval forces less than 100 nautical miles off the coast of Gaza.

They were participating in a peaceful humanitarian mission aimed at breaking the illegal blockade of Gaza and establishing a corridor for humanitarian aid to reach the starving population. I urgently request that you do everything within your power to pressure the UK government and the Foreign Office to:

Protect Aaron White and other British nationals

Ensure their safety from harm and illegal detention

Secure the immediate release of all detainees from captivity
