To address dangerous parking

We the undersigned demand that the law be enforced to bring an end to anti-social parking. We want rule breakers punished so that such behaviour does not become 'normalised'. Antisocial parking outside the takeaways on Duckworth lane is a public danger forcing parents with prams, wheelchair users and other pedestrians on to the main road as the pavements have been blocked by the illegal parked cars. The illegal parking can be dealt with by targeting traffic wardens there regularly, by CCTV cameras installed in hot spot areas and by making an example of the law breakers. Also to introduce a similar processing system to South Gloucestershire where you can report illegally parked cars directly to Bradford Council. This issue needs action NOW; we keep on asking and little if anything is done!

We need firm and decisive long term action that can eradicate the problem and an action plan that prevents them from reoccurring.
