Full benefits despite savings
So many people are being penalised for having savings over £6000, and having to use their own income between this amount and £16,000. With what's happening with the Covid 19 situation and so many job losses, I feel the rate should be increased to £10,000 and the threshold without benefits at £20,000.
Why is this important?
People are suffering not being able to claim benefits for having over £16,000 or being penalised for having less than this with their benefit claims if over the £6,000. It's not fair. People have been saving for houses, children, amongst other things. Please raise the limits so we don't have to use our savings to live on that we may need in later life.
