Remove George Osborne's Companion of Honour
It is not only unreasonable but bad practice to reward failure. As Chancelor Mr. Osbourne presided over an ailing economy. Which perportedly was left by the previous government. His promise was to reduce the countries deficit by a reduction in overall budget. In nearly 6 years as his time as Chancelor He in fact reduced budgets to Local Authorites, NHS and essential services whilst spending more than any other Chancelor since statistical analysis of the figures began. This represents total failure by and on his part. He should therefore have his award revoked forthwith as no Country should reward such abismal failure.
Why is this important?
We can no longer credibly hand out rewards for mere post holding. It is neither just, right or proper to present any award to someone who has caused such personal misery to so many people. Neither is it appropriate to reward someone for spiralling debt.
