Get the Scottish Government to go Carbon Neutral by 2030
Top scientists from around the world have given us until only 2030 to reduce carbon emissions to net zero, or global warming will become irreversible. Just recently, the Scottish Government failed to pass a bill that said they would reduce carbon emissions by 90% by 2050! Even if that bill had been passed it would have been too little. We need drastic change, and we need it now!
We need the Scottish Government to introduce legally binding legislations that say they will reduce all carbon emissions to net zero by 2030!
Scotland is the best possible place to start with this, as we already have extremely low carbon emissions compared to, say, The USA, or China, or even England. We don’t have to drastically change everything about ourselves to make this happen, and it can be done by 2030.
Why is this important?
Global Warming is the most important issue of our time! It effects our lives. It effects our children’s lives. It’s effects the future of the world. We need to act now, before it’s too late! We’ve been given this incredible gift that is our planet, don’t go throwing it away now.
