Grandmother denied rights to bury her talented grandson

We ask that the Home Office will urgently review their decision and provide Ivy with the visa she so urgently needs to pay her respects this Friday at Damary's funeral.

Why is this important?

Ivy is wanting to pay her respects to her grandson Damary Dawkins who died tragically of Leukaemia in March.

Damary (13) was a talented footballer playing for Crystal Palace Football Club development squad and was tragically diagnosed with cancer when he was only 9.

Crystal Palace F.C and the their supporters worked together to raise money to help to find a donor that could save the life of this gifted youngster.

Raheem Sterling England superstar on hearing of Damary's plight, made an appeal for stem cell donors from his social media account last July and revealed a tribute to the youngster under his shirt having put his side 3-0 up at Wembley last month.

"Damary was a kid I was trying to help," Sterling said. "We thought we'd found a donor but sadly it didn't match and sadly he passed away.

The football community showed compassion and strength to try and save the life of this talented youngster. Damary's passion for football and his positive attitude to life brought fans across the UK together. Football fans understand losing one of their own.

Sadly Damary died due to his illness on Sunday March 17 2019.
