Most Healthcare Assistants care workers are risking their lives and getting paid less than £9/hr to work in covid-19 environments.The government should be looking into this and reward these hard working people. It is too risk and traumatic for healthcare workers to work under such conditions with less rewards. Recently the new American Presidents raised wages for all those working in health and social care after realising the hardworking healthcare staff and the risks taken.
Healthcare Assistant should be paid in accordance to their hard work and risks they face during this pandemic.
Health Care assistant do provide personal care to those in paletive care,,they work directly with people dying from most infectious diseases like Covid-19.
