Hold Tommy Robinson (EDL) accountable

We the signatories to this petition unanimously call upon the British Police and British Government to investigate Tommy Robinsons (Ex EDL)contribution towards inciting extremism and terror against Muslims in the UK.

Why is this important?

Considering the UK has seen a number of terror attacks over the weeks, it is imperative hate preachers like Tommy who have a history of anti muslim behaviour are stopped immediately.

Social media is awash with numerous examples of Tommy Robinsons anti muslim views. Such views could have motivated the attack in Finsbury Park and need to be investigated urgently to avoid a repeat. Far right extremism is on the rise and innocent Muslims are suffering.

Tommy has said the Mosque near to where people were mown down created 'Radical Jihadists' and was promoting 'hate and segregation'. This will create further fear and hatred of Muslims and may motivate radicals to act against Muslims by launching further attacks.

For the betterment of community relations this needs to be investigated urgently.

Dear All,

Many of you signed the petition to have Tommy Robinson investigated. Sadly, the Police believe there is little evidence of Tommy spreading religious or racial hatred. Will come as a shock to most especially when social media is awash with his hatred.
The response is too long to post on here as it won't allow me to post it in full.

The gist is the Police believe he is keeping within the law by not saying what would constitute and offence.

The battle carries on.

Dear all

Almost 50 signatures reached within 12 hours. Just need 50 more then I can send this to the Police.

The Police have said they haven't received a single complaint against Tommy Robinson regarding Finsbury park incident.

This will be the first time he is investigated for inciting hate in connection to the Murder of worshippers outside Finsbury Park Mosque. It's clear people like him inspire attacks against Muslims
