Honour to NHS
Honour all NHS staff with the introduction of a new Bank Holiday on 5th. July, Vesting Day, when, in 1948, the NHS was established.
Why is this important?
The whole country wishes to celebrate the dedication of all those working in the NHS during the terrible onslaught on life by the Pandemic. They know that there will not be financial increases for them. A Bank Holiday in their name would be a suitable recognition of what they have achieved ; colleagues and family lost, and their own physical and mental stress. Almost a War Memorial.
